Acta Psychologia Journal, Faculty of Psychology, UNY Achieves SINTA 3 Accreditation

Yogyakarta, May 5, 2025 — The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has once again achieved a significant academic milestone with the official announcement of Acta Psychologia's accreditation at SINTA (Science and Technology Index) Rank 3. This recognition was granted through the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, dated March 21, 2025, concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for the First Period of 2025.

This accreditation is the result of a comprehensive evaluation process of journal accreditation proposals submitted in 2024, as documented in the Official Record of the Accreditation Results for Scientific Journals, Period I of 2025. Based on this assessment, Acta Psychologia has been officially declared eligible for SINTA 3 accreditation, which is valid starting from Volume 4, Issue 2, 2022.

As part of this accreditation, journal management is required to maintain the quality of published articles and ensure rigorous peer-review processes. Any decline in quality may lead to a downgrade or revocation of the accreditation status. The accreditation certificate can be downloaded progressively via http://arjuna.kemdikbud.go.id, and the accreditation status is available at http://sinta.kemdikbud.go.id/journals.

With this achievement, Acta Psychologia is expected to continue serving as a credible platform for scientific publication and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of psychological science both nationally and internationally.

“We warmly invite authors to continue contributing by submitting their best manuscripts to our journal,” concluded Tria Widyastuti, M.A., Editor in Chief of Acta Psychologia.
