Nagoya, January 7, 2025 – The Department of Psychology FIPP UNY once again marked an international achievement through its participation in the 5th International Conference on Business, Education and Social Sciences (ICCBES) held in Nagoya, Japan, from January 7-9, 2025. This conference gathered academics, researchers, and practitioners from various countries to discuss the dynamics of social change and cultural transformation in the era of globalization.
At the conference, the Department of Psychology FIPP UNY was represented by Nesya Adira, M.Si., who presented research titled "Driving Factors of Early Marriages: Comparison of Ecological Factors Between Rural and Urban Regions of Indonesia." The study delves into the differences in ecological factors driving early marriages in rural and urban areas of Indonesia. Accompanying Nesya were Dr. Siti Rohmah Nurhayati, M.Si., and Karsiyati, M.Psi.T., who provided support and contributions during the discussion sessions.
The conference concluded with a plenary session summarizing various research findings and future recommendations. Participants agreed that international collaboration and the exchange of ideas are essential in addressing the continuously evolving global challenges.
