Sleman, March 8, 2025 – The Psychology Department of FIPP UNY hosted the selection process for the Dukuh (village head) candidates of Sidomulyo Village, Godean District, Sleman Regency. Four candidates participated in the selection, competing for two Dukuh positions in Gancahan V and Gancahan IV hamlets.

The selection process was led by the Head of the Psychology Department of FIPP UNY, Dr. Rosita Endang Kusmaryani, M.Si., Psychologist, with support from psychology lecturers, particularly those specializing in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Additionally, a Javanese Language Education lecturer was involved as a judge for the Javanese speech test.

The candidates underwent a series of assessments, including interviews, a national insight test, a psychological test, and a speech test. Each stage of the selection was designed to evaluate leadership capacity, national knowledge, and communication skills to ensure that the chosen Dukuh could effectively fulfill their duties within the community.

Upon completing all selection stages, the results were announced on the same day at Sidomulyo Village. This selection process aims to ensure that the appointed Dukuh can carry out their responsibilities with integrity and contribute to the progress of the Gancahan V and Gancahan IV hamlets.
