UNY PSYCHOLOGY IS MOVING FORWARD: Submission of Cooperation Agreement Documents between UNY Psychology and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources

Yogyakarta, December 27, 2024 - The Faculty of Education and Psychology of Yogyakarta State University (FIPP UNY) witnessed the submission of a cooperation agreement between the Psychology Department of UNY and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). The event took place in Moh. Amien Building, precisely in International Room B, and was attended by officials from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Human Resources section.

The submission of this document is a strategic step in strengthening the relationship between the academic world and government institutions, especially in the development of human resources based on psychological science. The event was chaired by the Chairperson of the UNY Psychology Department, Dr. Rosita Endang Kusmaryani, M.Si., who expressed her hope that this collaboration would be able to make a real contribution to scientific development and increase the competence of human resources in Indonesia.

Representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources also appreciated this initiative. They considered that cooperation with UNY, especially the Department of Psychology, could be the foundation for the development of various programs related to assessment, training, and improving the quality of human resources in the energy and mineral sector.

The event was closed with a brief discussion session regarding the steps to implement this cooperation agreement and the potential for further collaboration in the future. With the establishment of this partnership, it is expected to create a productive synergy between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and UNY in facing the challenges of human resource management in the modern era.
